TAAG Angola Airlines has taken a significant step towards fleet modernization by signing a sale-and-leaseback agreement with AerCap Holdings N.V. for a brand-new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
This marks a key milestone for the Angolan carrier, introducing a highly fuel-efficient and technologically advanced aircraft to its operations.
Delivery in February 2025
Scheduled for delivery in February 2025, the 787-9 will play a crucial role in TAAG’s expansion plans. The aircraft’s long-range capabilities will enable the airline to connect Angola with key destinations across Africa, Europe, and Asia.
Overall, the new widebody aircraft will offer passengers enhanced connectivity and a more comfortable travel experience.
