Southwest Airlines flight WN4035, operated by a Boeing 737-800, declared the emergency with transponder code 7700 and is now expediting a direct return to the origin airport.

The Southwest Airlines flight squawked transponder code 7700 from cruising flight at FL350 (35,000 feet). Flight crew then initiated a direct return to Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). The nature of the emergency is not yet known.

Southwest flight WN4035 has continued to expedite its return to Harry Reid International Airport. The flight is now on descent, passing through FL140 for a return to the origin airport. Flight crew are maintaining the priority emergency transponder code 7700 for the approach.
Weather for the flight’s return is visual conditions (VFR) with 10 miles visibility and light winds. Runways 01 and 08 are active for arrivals.

Having declared an emergency and expedited a return to the origin airport, flight WN4035 has now landed runway 26L Harry Reid International Airport.
The aircraft conducting the WN4035 rotation to Tulsa International Airport (TUL) was a Boeing 737-800, registered N8632A. This is a 10.6 year old narrowbody aircraft belonging to the carrier Southwest Airlines. The airline has operated the aircraft since its initial delivery from the factory in June 2014.
Update: Electrical Problem Prompted Return
According to the online source @FlightEmergency, Southwest flight WN4035 returned to Las Vegas due to an electrical issue. Flight crew reported navigation aid receivers were intermittently inoperable.
