WN2327 is descending through 8,000 and is making a quick return back to LAS following the emergency call.
About N7823A – The Southwest Airlines 737 Involved in the Emergency on WN2327 Las Vegas-Burbank
As mentioned, N7823A is the aircraft involved in the incident.
As per Planespotters, N7823A is a 21.4 year old Boeing 737-700 that started out life with WestJet in February 2003.
Furthermore, by February 2015, the aircraft was handed over to WN, where it has been ever since.
Of the 737-700 variant, WN has 379 of them in their fleet.
Within that 379, all but 16 are in active service, with an average fleet age of 18.8 years.
The airline also has other variations of the 737 in their fleet such as:
- 737-800
- 737 MAX

WN2327 is turning onto short final for an emergency landing into LAS.

TOUCHDOWN! WN2327, originally bound for Burbank, has appeared to have touched down safely into Las Vegas following the emergency call on the Southwest Airlines Boeing 737.
As soon as we have more information pertinent to the cause of the emergency, then we will update you accordingly.

It is confirmed that the aircraft has been met by airport operations after vacating the runway really quickly.

It is understood WN2327 is now taxiing following operational crews checking the aircraft.
Furthermore, they are behind the jet as an escort.
About to Park Up on Stand…
WN2327 is approaching the terminal for the airline at LAS. Looks to be heading to a standard passenger terminal gate.
Still unclear what the cause is at this present time.
Arrived at the Gate…
WN2327 has arrived back at the gate.
Next steps will probably be the disembarkation of passengers.
This will be all of the passengers if the aircraft has suffered a technical issue resulting in a cancellation.
If it is a medical, then the affected persons will be removed from the plane and the aircraft will continue to Burbank.
