Saudia, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, continues its expansion in 2025. The airline has revealed plans to add over ten exciting new destinations to its global network this year.

This expansion follows a record growth year, marked by a 16% surge in international passenger numbers, demonstrating Saudia’s commitment to connecting the world and meeting the growing demand for international travel.

Saudia in 2025

Where will Saudia be taking you in 2025? The new routes span across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, offering travelers a diverse range of choices.

Dreaming of Viennese waltzes? Saudia will be flying to Vienna, Austria. Perhaps a romantic gondola ride in Venice, Italy, is more your style? That’s on the list too. Sun-seekers can look forward to Larnaca, Cyprus, and the Greek destinations of Athens and Heraklion.

The French Riviera beckons with new flights to Nice, while Malaga, Spain, offers a taste of Andalusian charm.

For those seeking exotic adventures, Saudia will now connect travelers to the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia, and the Turkish coastal city of Antalya. Closer to home, Saudia is adding El Alamein in Egypt and Salalah in Oman to its growing network.

These new additions complement Saudia’s already impressive network of over 100 destinations across four continents. This significant expansion reflects the airline’s strategic vision for growth and its dedication to providing passengers with unparalleled travel experiences.

Building on 2024 Operational Success

“Following our operational success last year, we’ve developed a strategic plan for 2025 to ensure continued excellence and meet the increasing demand for international travel,” says H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group.

“Our destination selection process involves thorough feasibility studies and careful consideration of our guests’ preferences. We are committed to offering international travelers exceptional journeys characterized by comfort, efficiency, and authentic Saudi hospitality.”

Fleet and International Expansion

Saudia’s modern fleet of 147 Boeing and Airbus aircraft plays a crucial role in facilitating this expansion.

Saudia also prides itself on its high standards of onboard service, which includes comfortable seating, cutting-edge in-flight entertainment systems, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that embodies Saudi hospitality.

Looking to the future, Saudia has plans to receive 118 new aircraft in the coming years, further boosting its operational capacity and allowing for even greater expansion.

With over 530 daily flights, Saudia’s ongoing international development plan aims to increase its share of the global market and strengthen connections between Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world.
