Saudia Group’s airlines have achieved exceptional rankings for punctuality, according to Cirium’s November 2024 aviation performance report.
The Group’s flagship carrier Saudia has emerged as the global leader in On-Time Performance (OTP). It achieved an impressive 89.85 percent of flights arriving on schedule across more than 16,300 operations.
This sound achievement marks Saudia’s third time leading the global rankings, following similar successes in June and July 2024.
In a parallel achievement, the Group’s low-cost subsidiary flyadeal demonstrated outstanding performance by securing second place among global budget airlines. It maintained an exceptional 90.48 percent OTP for the second consecutive month.
This accomplishment follows flyadeal’s top position in the same category during September 2024, highlighting the airline’s consistent operational excellence.
Saudia Group Comments
Commenting on these achievements, Saudia Group’s Director General, His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, emphasized their strategic importance.
“These results powerfully demonstrate our unwavering commitment to safe and punctual operations, building customer trust across our brands. The success reflects not only our frontline teams’ dedication but also the seamless support from all Group business units in delivering exceptional service.”
Al-Omar attributed much of this success to Saudia’s comprehensive “Shine” transformation program: “Through this innovative initiative, we’re continuously enhancing guest experiences, improving operational efficiency, and elevating our service quality across all touchpoints of the customer journey.”
