Having declared an emergency whilst inbound to Scotland earlier this morning, SAS flight SK2545 has now landed at Edinburgh Airport.

Flight data shows that SAS flight SK2545 made an on-time departure out of Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ARN) this morning at 11:00 local time. The flight had proceeded normally, climbing to flight level FL380 (38,000 feet) for the service to Scotland.
The flight crew conducted the top of descent normally and squawked emergency transponder code 7700 at 10:50 UTC as the flight passed FL260 on initial descent. The operating crew then conducted the remainder of the flight as an emergency priority.
The aircraft conducting this morning’s SK2545 service from Stockholm was an Airbus A320neo, registered EI-SIU. This is a 2 year old narrowbody aircraft operated by the carrier SAS Connect. It has been in operational service with the airline since its initial delivery from the factory in November 2022. The aircraft bears the airline name ‘Olaf Viking’.
