RwandAir is marking a significant milestone this month – the first anniversary of its direct flights between Paris and Kigali.
Originally launched on 27 June 2023, this route has transformed travel possibilities, offering a vital bridge between Africa and Europe.
Operating three times a week, the flights cater to the increasing demand for seamless connections.
Passengers can leverage RwandAir’s extensive network to reach various destinations within East, West, Central, and Southern Africa. Kigali acts as a convenient gateway, simplifying multi-leg journeys across the continent.
Paris-Kigali One Year Milestone
Over the past year, RwandAir has successfully completed over 150 flights on this route. This accomplishment reflects the growing interest from European travelers seeking convenient access to Rwanda and beyond.
As excitement builds towards the 2024 Summer Olympics, RwandAir is proud to extend its services to some of the participating athletes traveling to Paris.
RwandAir stands out as the sole provider of direct flights between Paris and Kigali. Additionally, the airline offers stopover options on select connecting flights via Kigali.
This unique service allows passengers to discover the beauty of Rwanda before reaching their final destinations.
Deogratias Higiro, RwandAir Country Manager for Paris, expressed his pride in this achievement: “We celebrate this milestone and the remarkable success of our direct Paris-Kigali flights.”
“This route has been instrumental in strengthening our global network and solidifying our commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences.”
“The increasing demand from the French market signifies the strong bonds and shared interests between Rwanda and France.”
