Royal Air Maroc flight AT751, operated by a Boeing 737-800, was en route to Casablanca (CMN) when flight crew squawked transponder code 7700.

At the time of the emergency declaration, the flight, which was still in French airspace, was diverted to Bordeaux.
Flight data shows that the flight AT751 had made a delayed departure out of Paris-Orly Airport (ORY).
Diversion to Bordeaux (BOD)
The flight made an actual time of departure of 2218 local time. Scheduled departure time for the rotation was 2140 local time.
The flight had set course normally and climbed to flight level FL360 (36,000 feet) for the southerly service to Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN).
Flight crew made the emergency declaration at approximately 21:10 UTC, with the aircraft initiating a descent through FL280.
Flight crew then initiated a diversion procedure and backtracked to nearby Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport (BOD).
The airline has not confirmed the nature of the emergency prompting the unscheduled diversion.

This is a 12.7 year old narrowbody aircraft belonging to the carrier Royal Air Maroc.
