In a significant milestone, Riyadh Air is gearing up for the arrival of its inaugural Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
This leased aircraft is adorned in the airline’s elegant pearl livery. It will serve as a crucial asset for training and act as a technical spare. It has been brought in separately, ahead of the airline’s bulk order of 72 widebody 787-9 aircraft.
The airline will unveil the aircraft at its home base, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The new aircraft ascquistion marks a pivotal moment in the airline’s journey towards its highly anticipated launch.
Training and Support Allocation
The airline will soon reveal the much-awaited cabin interiors, designed to set new standards in luxury air travel.. Whilst allocated as a back-up, this particular aircraft will also feature a high-specification interior. This will ensure passengers experience high quality service even when the back-up aircraft is deployed for line operations.
It’s important to note that this aircraft is independent of the airline’s main order of 72 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
