Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines Forge New Strategic Partnership

From 16 June 2025, Philippine Airlines will offer daily nonstop flights from Manila to Doha in a new codeshare cooperation with Qatar Airways.

Starting 16 June 2025, Philippine Airlines will introduce daily nonstop flights between Manila and Doha, in partnership with Qatar Airways.

This codeshare agreement marks a significant step in enhancing connectivity for travelers between the Philippines and Qatar.

The collaboration promises improved mutual access to a vast global network.

Manila to Doha Codeshare


Philippine Airlines will operate seven weekly flights from Manila to Doha, with Qatar Airways codesharing on these services.

This partnership opens doors for Filipino travelers to explore over 170 destinations in Qatar Airways’ extensive network, covering Africa, the Americas, Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Passengers will experience world-class service and the comfort of Hamad International Airport, voted the World’s Best Airport in the Middle East by Skytrax in 2025.

The daily flights are designed for convenience. Departing Manila at 18:50, flights will arrive in Doha at 23:40, offering smooth connections to Qatar Airways’ global routes.

For eastbound travelers, Qatar Airways passengers can connect in Doha to Philippine Airlines’ daily flight, departing at 01:30 and arriving at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 16:15.

This schedule ensures hassle-free travel for both business and leisure passengers.

Strengthening Ties and Opportunities


Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Thierry Antinori, explained the airline’s commitment to global connectivity.

“Our collaboration with Philippine Airlines strengthens ties between Qatar and the Philippines, fostering socio-economic growth,” he said. “We’re excited to offer travelers more options and exceptional service through this codeshare.”

Philippine Airlines’ President and Chief Operating Officer, Captain Stanley K. Ng, supported the notion with further comment. “This partnership allows us to expand our global reach and provide seamless travel options for our passengers,” he stated.

“The daily flights to Doha will boost tourism, trade, and business between our nations. Additionally, Overseas Filipino Workers and their families will benefit greatly from this new route.”

Airbus A330-300 Operations

Philippine Airlines will operate these flights using its long-range Airbus A330-300, featuring a dual-class configuration. Business Class offers 18 flat-bed seats for a premium, restful experience.

The Economy Class cabin provides 341 comfortable seats, ensuring all passengers enjoy a pleasant journey. With Philippine Airlines’ renowned hospitality and Qatar Airways’ global expertise, travelers can expect a top-tier experience.
