Porter Airlines is expanding its reach in British Columbia by launching flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Kelowna International Airport (YLW).
Starting May 14, 2025, the airline will operate five weekly roundtrip flights, increasing to daily service on June 23.
“Porter Airlines’ decision to expand its services to Kelowna is a significant milestone for our community,” said Sam Samaddar, Kelowna International Airport CEO. “This new route not only enhances connectivity between Kelowna and Toronto. It also opens up new opportunities for tourism and business in the Okanagan Valley.”
Third British Columbia Destination
Kelowna will be the third British Columbia city served by Porter’s 132-seat Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, joining Vancouver and Victoria. The E195-E2 is the most fuel-efficient and quietest single-aisle jet in its class. Conveniently, Porter’s two-by-two seating configuration ensures no middle seats on any flight.
Connecting flights to Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, and St. John’s will also be available.
