Piper Aircraft on Track For Record Aircraft Deliveries in 2024

Piper Aircraft saw strong delivery and financial performance in Q2, and is on track to achieve record number of aircraft deliveries for 2024.

American general aviation aircraft manufacturer Piper Aircraft has seen a remarkable surge in performance during the first half of 2024.

It sustained solid new aircraft deliveries and revenue performance throughout H1 2024. The US manufacturer is now anticipating record aircraft deliveries for the full year 2024.

Impressive Delivery and Revenue Growth

Despite challenges in the global market, Piper Aircraft has maintained strong momentum in new aircraft deliveries and revenue.

The company is on track to deliver approximately 300 aircraft this year, marking a significant 22% increase from the previous year.

This growth reflects the continued robust global demand for Piper’s diverse range of GA and light aircraft.

The first half of 2024 saw a 16% increase in deliveries compared to the same period in 2023. There was a slight dip in Q1 2024, primarily due to the launch and late Q1 FAA certification of Piper’s new flagship M700 FURY.

Despite the slight drop in performance, the second quarter then rebounded impressively. Deliveries soared by 30%, while revenue climbed by nearly 9%.

The M700 FURY: A Game-Changer

Among the projected 300 aircraft deliveries for this year, Piper is set to deliver nearly 50 of its new M700 FURY aircraft.

This state-of-the-art addition to Piper’s lineup has generated significant buzz in the aviation community.

As international validations and certifications are expected in the coming months, deliveries of the M700 FURY are anticipated to accelerate in the second half of the year.

Strong Market Performance

Ron Gunnarson, VP of marketing, sales and customer support at Piper Aircraft, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s performance. “Our trainer and M-Class markets remain robust, and we are pleased with our delivery performance this year.”

“The positive reception from our customers following the launch of the M700 FURY has been particularly encouraging.”

Gunnarson attributes Piper’s success to two key factors. He cited the dedication to excellence demonstrated by Piper’s dealer and factory teams. The company’s unwavering focus on customer satisfaction also propelled the strong results.

Looking Ahead

As Piper Aircraft continues to expand its operations and product offerings, it remains committed to delivering exceptional value and performance to its customers worldwide.

The company’s strong performance in 2024 sets a solid foundation for future growth and innovation in the general aviation sector.
