One Air Adds Third Boeing 747-400 Freighter as Cargo Demand Rises

Now in its second year of flight operations, UK cargo operator One Air has added an additional Boeing 747-400 freighter amid rising demand.

British cargo airline One Air has celebrated its second anniversary with the addition of a third Boeing 747 freighter to its fleet.

The new aircraft, a 747-400ERF, was leased from AeroTransCargo FZE. It recently completed its inaugural flight from Hong Kong to East Midlands Airport.

The 747-400ERF is a unique addition to One Air’s fleet. The aircraft features both a nose door and a side door for efficient loading and unloading.

The aircraft has an increased payload capacity of up to 124,000 kg. This further boosts the airline’s ability to meet the growing demand for cargo transportation between Asia and Europe.
