Norwegian Launches 6 New Routes for Winter 24/25

Norwegian will launch six new routes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport for the winter 2024/25 season.

Norwegian is gearing up for the winter season by launching six brand new routes from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Göteborg Landvetter Airport.

These routes will connect passengers to a variety of destinations, including some that haven’t been previously offered.

This expansion reflects the strong demand for international travel, and Norwegian’s commitment to connecting Sweden to the world.

“Norwegian’s investment in these new routes demonstrates the ongoing popularity of international travel,” says Elizabeth Axtelius, Director Aviation Business at Swedavia.

“With a longstanding presence at our airports, Norwegian plays a crucial role in connecting Sweden to established markets across Europe and beyond.”

“Our primary goal is to enhance accessibility, and Norwegian’s vast network allows people to connect for business, leisure, or to visit loved ones.”

About Norwegian

Norwegian is one of the Nordic countries’ largest airlines and one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines with approximately 4,500 employees.

The company offers an extensive route network between the Nordic countries and destinations in Europe.

Since the company was founded in 2002, over 300 million passengers have flown with Norwegian. The ambition has always been to offer cheap plane tickets and increased freedom of choice during the trip.

Norwegian wants to be a driving force in aviation’s green transition. The goal is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 45 percent by 2030.

To get there, the company renews the aircraft fleet, promotes renewable aviation fuels, reduces and recycles waste, and uses weather and wind data for more efficient flights that reduce fuel consumption. Norwegian wants to be the most sustainable choice for passengers.
