Ukraine Crisis: Clearer Photos Of Antonov AN-225 Mriya Destroyed Is Revealed

LONDONFollowing footage released yesterday of the Antonov AN-225 Mriya destroyed in Gostomel, more clearer photos have surfaced via local media.

You can see photos below of the aircraft damaged beyond repair:

With Antonov saying in the last couple of days that it would rebuild the aircraft, the extent of the damage would suggest that it would be worth building a new one from scratch instead.

This of course adds to the sad news that we have already heard about the Mriya, and with its fate confirmed, all eyes are now on Antonov to see what they will do next post-conflict.
