Scandinavian Airlines To Launch Copenhagen/Stockholm-Toronto Flights

BERLIN – Nordic carrier SAS is expanding its network in North America.

According to a press release, the carrier will start direct flights to Toronto from Copenhagen and Stockholm in June 2022.

The service will be operated this service three times weekly from Copenhagen and 4 times weekly from Stockholm with their brand-new A321LR aircraft.

Toronto is the fourth-largest city in North America and an international center for business and finance.

Karl Sandlung, EVP Commercial of SAS, said: “We are happy to announce direct flights from Scandinavia to Toronto, taking the next step in strengthening our North America network.”

“SAS’ new routes will make travel between Scandinavia and Canada easy and convenient for our travelers. Flights depart from Scandinavia at midday and from Toronto in the afternoon enabling good connections in either end to other destinations”

Their brand-new A321 LR aircraft offer a three-class configuration with 157 seats.

The cabin offers 22 SAS Business class seats in a 2-2/1-1 layout, 12 seats in SAS Plus (Premium Economy) in a 2-2 layout, and 123 seats in SAS Go (Economy) in a 3-3 layout.
