LONDON – Qatar Airways is resuming its services to London Gatwick from June 5th, 2022.
Qatar will operate daily, flying from Doha to Gatwick on a Boeing 787-8, which offers 22 seats in business class and 232 seats in economy.
With Qatar Airways resuming flights to Gatwick, they will be offering a great connection both to and from Doha’s Hamad Airport, with over 150 destinations to choose from.
The resumption of Qatar Airways’ flight comes as British Airways, Qatar Airways partner, recently launched their own flights to Doha from Gatwick.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Our commitment to the UK market has been unwavering and we operated continuously and reliably throughout the pandemic, so I am pleased we can resume our popular service to London Gatwick.”
“We offer excellent connectivity to and from the UK, providing travelers with more choice and convenience.”
“This year is very special for us, not least as it is the 25th anniversary of the start of our flights to London Heathrow in March 1997.”
In all, this is good news for Qatar Airways as it continues to reinstate services globally due to the COVID-19 pandemic disrupting it.
