LONDON – According to data from AirNav RadarBox, New York’s JFK recorded triple-digit growth in movements last week.

Based on data from February 12-19, which was last week, the airport recorded a staggering +128.06% increase in air traffic movements, with 1,154 flights noted.
For the same period in 2021, the figure was only recorded at 506 movements.
2022 numbers are around 2.18% less than 2020, but that isn’t really of matter as it shows that the airport is more or less at recovery levels.
This comes especially with 2019 numbers for that same period being recorded at 1,195.
With the airport more or less at full recovery, this will no doubt be the beginning of a pattern that will take place across other airports across the United States and the rest of the world.
