BERLIN – Earlier today (24th January) a LOT Polish Airlines E195 operating a flight between Warsaw and Brussels diverted to Dusseldorf.

The aircraft operating the flight was a 10-year-old E195 registered SP-LND.

LO233 is a daily flight between Warsaw and Dusseldorf.

The flight suffered a decompression while cruising at 34,000ft and started a rapid descent to 10,000ft.

The pilots soon declared a general emergency, squawked 7700, and decided to divert to Dusseldorf.

Footage from inside the aircraft shows that the oxygen masks were deployed.

This makes this emergency the sixth of its kind in January 2022 alone.
