LONDON – A Lion Air Boeing 737-800 has returned to Jakarta following a fire in the left engine.

PK-LKK was the Boeing 737-800 aircraft in question, which was operating JT330 between Jakarta and Palembang, with the aircraft landing safely on Runway 25R around 32 minutes after departure.

As you can see above, data from RadarBox.com shows the short flight in question.

Someone even got a photo of the aircraft with the engine on fire, as well as overall footage of firefighters meeting the aircraft upon landing in Jakarta.

This is a developing story.
