LONDON – A Jet2 Boeing 737-800 struggled with wind shear at Manchester Airport during Storm Malik, which battered parts of the UK.
G-JZHC was the unlucky aircraft fighting off winds gusting beyond 40 knots.

The aircraft was returning back to the UK airport from Malaga operating LS810.
LS810 tried landing twice at Manchester, before subsequently making the decision to divert to East Midlands, where it landed there safely.
Storm Malik continued to batter parts of Europe last night with airports such as Copenhagen reporting gusting winds of over 50 knots.
