LONDON – Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced their dedicated City Breaks programme for Summer 24, with ten destinations on sale from six UK bases.

The programme includes a brand-new route from London Stansted to Nice, as well as increased flexibility to other top destinations in Europe.

This comes just weeks after the announcement of the companies’ biggest ever Summer Sun programme for 2024, which includes flights and holidays to a number of other popular city break destinations.

The latest announcement puts the dedicated City Breaks programme on sale for Summer 24 from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle International and London Stansted Airports.

The latest offering spans a variety of world-famous capitals, cultural centres, and historical gems in Greece (Athens), Mainland Spain (Barcelona), Hungary (Budapest), Poland (Krakow), Czech Republic (Prague), France (Nice and Paris), and Italy (Pisa, Rome and Venice).

35 additional routes

The scale and size of the programme means that there are an additional 35 routes, representing over one million seats, with flights operating on a Thursday, Friday, Sunday, or Monday.

As well as offering this unrivalled choice and flexibility to top city break destinations, the companies are also launching a brand-new route for Summer 24 from London Stansted Airport to Nice.

Two weekly services will operate from the base to the French Riviera, offering holidaymakers plenty of opportunity to discover Nice’s Old Town and its seafront promenade, as well as nearby Cannes and Monaco.

Strong travel demand

The launch of the City Breaks programme comes in response to strong and sustained demand for city breaks in the sunshine and follows the early release of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ biggest ever Summer Sun programme for 2024.

This includes a number of popular destinations in the Balearic Islands (Palma), Canary Islands (Las Palmas), Greece (Thessaloniki), Italy (Catania, Naples, Olbia and Verona), Spain (Malaga, Alicante and Girona), Malta (Lucca) and Portugal (Faro and Funchal, Madeira).

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We have received a very positive response from customers and independent travel agents since going on sale early with our Summer Sun programme for 2024.”

“Many people want to book well in advance and have something to look forward to, so we have listened to that and acted. Following this success, we are delighted to be releasing details of our dedicated city breaks programme earlier than ever before too.”

“With so much flexibility and a wide choice of magical city destinations to choose from, customers can book a memorable trip into the diary and lock in the price now. Whether it is a weekend, long weekend or something longer, our City Breaks programme for Summer 24 offers something for everyone.”
