In Photos: A Look Inside The Antonov AN-225 Mriya in Billund, Denmark

BILLUND – We may seem small. We’re not!

That’s how Billund Airport together with Spedman Global Logistic as the responsible carrier welcomed the unique Antonov An-225 Mriya (UR-82060) last Friday, February 4th.

The aircraft arrived at 23.30 local time as flight ADB3120 coming from Tianjin (China) via Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) with 2.5 million Covid self-tests on board as part of a recent total order of 35 million self-tests.

It was the first visit of the An-225 at Billund and the third in Denmark. Mriya left Billund on Saturday, February 5th at 14.30 LT back to their home base Kyiv (Ukraine).

On behalf of the AviationSource team, we would like to thank Dirk for letting us use his photos as well as him producing a short piece on this!
