EVA Air to expand network in Europe after 25 years with new non-stop flights to Milan and Munich

LONDON – EVA Air, the Taiwanese private international carrier has announced that it will be expanding its network in Europe with new flights to be launched between Taipei to Milan and Munich, with flights starting from 25th October 2022 and 3rd November 2022 respectively.

The new expanded network will be being EVA Air to Milan on twice a week and Munich flights on four times a week schedule.

EVA Air’s new services to Milan and Munich will give EVA Air’s passengers more flexibility and seamless connectivity in connection with EVA Air’s other routes to London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Vienna, allowing EVA Air to establish strong hold between Taiwan and European getaways.

Eva Air had previously announced its strong intentions to return to Milan with daily service from Taipei, but as the world was pushed into deep tremors of pandemic in early 2020, the airline had to cancel its plans to start the operation, as nations were restricting entry and borders for international travellers were being closed as part of lockdowns.

As world is making positive efforts to return to normalcy in post pandemic world and airlines are resuming its services, EVA Air has once again offered this Taipei – Milan service to its passengers.

Milan being a gateway to fashion industry and being financial capital of Italy, has been witnessing surge in tourist arrivals in post pandemic recovery phase.

The new service to Milan and Munich will mark EVA Air’s first ever route expansion in the European continent in 25 years.

Although EVA currently maintains its full-service routes between Taipei to London, Paris, Amsterdam and Vienna with few flights connecting via Bangkok, this new non-stop route will be regarded as first ever expansion to major European hubs for the carrier.

The new services to Milan and Munch have been scheduled to suit business and leisure travellers, which wish to connect in Taipei for their onwards journey to the Asian markets.

Similarly, the European connectivity will allow passengers to choose inbound and outbound cities as per their choices with respect to EVA air’s schedule.

These new routes are of crucial performance for the carrier, as it will be establishing Taipei’s presence in the major European hubs.

Milan, being a fashion hub for the world and financial capital of Italy, the carrier has made efforts to establish the routes between Taiwan and Italy, thus allowing Taiwanese business community to connect with the European markets.

Milan has spectacular tourists’ attractions to offer to its visitors, giving them taste of Italian hospitality and remarkable history.

Munich on the other hand, being the German financial force and leading commercial market has always been regarded as business traveller’s hub as it offers global linkages from its airport.

But simultaneously, Munich has abundance to tourist offerings allowing travellers to involve in Germany’s Oktoberfest, which attracts thousands of tourists from across the globe and thus establish itself as beer capital of the world.

It can be concluded that EVA air is making significant efforts on its road to recovery in post pandemic era, offering its travellers, citizens, and tourists to indulge in European beauty and hospitality, simultaneously opening its doors for the tourists from around the globe to witness Taiwanese culture, hospitality, and warmth of the nature it has to offer.
