Emirates crowned gold award for immaculate safety records for the third year in a row

LONDON – Emirates has been bestowed a gold award for its immaculate safety records at the prestigious RoSPA awards which were held in Dubai.

Emirates is the only carrier that has received this award for third time in row thus establishing its emphasis on the safety of its passengers and operations.

The Emirates has achieved gold awards in three different categories like Fleet Safety Award, Health and Safety Award, and Leisure Safety Award.

Furthermore, the Emirates has also been honoured with Health and Safety – Team of the Year (Middle East) for second time in row, thud demonstrating tangible outcomes in its operational safety performance, governance system in health and safety and extensive COVID-19 precautions and measures to safeguard health and wellbeing of passengers and staff.

With the exceptional records and accolades in air transport, Emirates also holds extensive fleets in ground transportation for operational purposes such as first and business class passengers, cabin and flight deck crews, employees and ground operations contributing to 2.5 million road trips in normal year.

The carrier has been awarded in ground transportation safety with immaculate standards and protocols that have been laid out for safety and comfort of its users.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), the UK based organisation who conducts this award ceremony and events each year and facilitates the participating airlines in the safety records.

RoSPA focuses on promoting and facilitating occupational health and safety, and road, home, leisure, and education safety around the world.

The RoSPA conducts annual award ceremony with peer reviews from panel of independent assessors, with significant submissions requiring participants to demonstrate evidence of an entrant’s health and safety management system, including aspects like risk assessments, safety audits, and safety education initiatives.

Amongst 2000 entries from various companies globally participating in the RoSPA awards in 2022, Emirates has achieved its deserving place.

With such prestigious awards being bestowed upon Emirates, the carrier is even more determined to outperform over coming years and maintain set standards that has fetched them gold awards over years.

Emirates airlines which have been in the airline business for over 36 years have revamped itself by the dawn of millennium, with facelift strategies, product development, widest network and fleet expansion and capturing sizable market share in the aviation industry.

The carrier today operates a mixed fleet of 254 aircraft with 157 destinations across the globe.

The predominant hub of the carrier at Dubai International Airport has been come to limelight over two decades with merely desert camp to a thriving city full of experiences, vibrant cultural mix and a paradise of the Middle East.
