LONDON – Deucalion Aviation has announced the lease of 3x Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Turkish operator SunExpress Airlines.
The global aviation asset management company Deucalion Aviation advised details of this month’s lease arrangement of 3x Boeing B737-800 aircraft to the Turkish carrier. The aircraft, with MSNs 38177, 40720 and 40725, were all delivered to SunExpress Airlines by 7 July.

According to the carrier’s website, SunExpress operates a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. The current fleet complement is 50 Boeing 737-800 NG and 9 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

- Fifth best leisure airline in the world (2018 & 2019): Voted the world’s fifth best leisure airline and the best leisure airline in Turkey by Skytrax World Awards, also known as “the passengers’ choice”.
- Turkey’s safest airline (2018): Best-rated passenger airline by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Sun Express was awarded as the best airline in passenger transportation with the SAFA rating 0.0.
- Germany’s most punctual airline (2018): Using data collected by the passenger rights portal Flightright, the airline was rated the most punctual airline in Germany.

The airline currently operates both scheduled and chartered passenger flights to 90 destinations in 30 countries throughout Europe as well as North Africa, the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Red Sea regions.
