LONDON – Changi Festive Village will be making a splash at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) when it returns this year-end!

From 11 November 2022 to 2 January 2023, the whole family can explore a range of activities including installations inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water which will be released in cinemas on 15 December 2022.

Stunning installations inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water are on show at Changi Airport’s T3 Departure Hall, with a larger-than-life replica of the home of the Na’vi, the iconic characters from the movie.

Explore their abode, see replicas of the residents, and witness wondrous light and sound shows. Then, head to the basement to relive your childhood with over 30 carnival game booths and rides at the T3 Underground Carnival and fuel your need for speed with go-kart racing.

You can also catch a glimpse of an exhilarating Avatar-themed Light & Sound show at the HSBC Rain Vortex, frolic with marine life on digital screens at Canopy Park, and enjoy family camps at the Changi Experience Studio.

See the home of the water-dwelling Na’vi clan, the Metkayina, at the T3 Departure Hall. Avatar: The Way of Water-inspired Marui Pod is a life-sized replica of the Na’vi abode, towering at over seven metres.

Visitors can view life-sized replicas of the Na’vi natives and take Instagram-worthy photos with them. As darkness falls daily, the locale comes to life with dazzling light, sound and projection shows.

After visiting the Na’vi, take a piece of Pandora home with you from 18 November 2022 when you visit the Avatar: The Way of Water retail pop-up situated next to the Marui Pod.

As night falls, Canopy Park, located at the topmost level of Jewel, will glow into an ocean-themed sea of blue, pink, purple and teal with bioluminescent light displays.

Step into a cave tunnel lined with dazzling ceiling lights and water effects projections for an immersive underwater-like experience.

Be thrilled and interact with sea creatures such as the dolphin, seal and manta ray on screens using motion to trigger playful responses from them.

Feast your eyes upon mystical plants surrounding a pool of sparkling blue water, have a hand in weaving glow-in-the-dark corals, and snap Insta-photo moments throughout the park.

At Petal Garden, watch as your footprints leave glowing blue bioluminescent waves on the interactive floor screen, and saunter past the four-metre-high smoke bubble tree to complete the experience.

For visitors who miss the sight of snow, Jewel has once again introduced snowfall this year-end season. Witness the wonder of snowfall against the alluring light installations that dot the lush landscaping every evening at the Shiseido Forest Valley from 7:35 PM to 10:35 PM daily.

The Changi Festive Village displays will be open from 11 November 2022 to 2 January 2023.
