LONDON – Vietnam’s newest airline Bamboo Airways has appointed AVIAREPS as its General Sales Agents (GSA) in its expanding Europe network. Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece will be handled by the GSA with immediate effect.

The company is one of the worlds leading branding, marketing, communications, and public relations for companies in tourism, hospitality, aviation and food & beverages.

AVIAREPS will aid Bamboo Airlines with sales and marketing of their route network of selected European countries to create brand awareness for the airline for the years to come. Bamboo Airways will surely benefit from this cooperation as the airline ventures into new markets.

Bamboo Airways has chosen AVIAREPS as GSA’s for the following thirteen countries including the new European ones:  Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Thailand, and the United States.

Bamboo Airways is the first airline in Vietnam aiming to achieve 5-star status and will tailor-made services on every flight, showcasing Vietnamese hospitality at its finest.

Bamboo Airways currently operates a diverse domestic network covering Vietnam while constantly expanding international nonstop flights across Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Europe is considered an important step in the airline’s expansion strategy, which in February 2022 inaugurated its first nonstop flight connecting Hanoi (Vietnam) and Frankfurt (Germany). The route is operated twice a week by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner and marked the first nonstop commercial service of Bamboo Airways to the Old Continent after the pandemic.

Bamboo Airways plans to further expand its presence in Europe and the local AVIAREPS expert teams are excited to support the carrier in this process and to help grow passenger numbers to and from Europe.

Bamboo Airways Deputy CCO, Hoang Ngoc Thach stated: “Bamboo Airways and AVIAREPS have reached a new level of partnership with the appointment of GSA for Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece.”

“Through our cooperation with AVIAREPS, we commit to bringing a world-class experience and seamless travel for our passengers, thereby contributing to the development of both continents.”

“Given AVIAREPS’ prestige and expertise in the aviation industry, we are delighted to strengthen this partnership which will support Bamboo Airways in gearing up expansion in Europe and win customers’ hearts.”

AVIAREPS COO of Aviation Marcelo Kaiser: “We are excited to support Bamboo Airways as GSA in four additional markets and feel honored about the given trust.”

“We have seen our partnership with Bamboo Airways expand over the years and look forward to helping them grow further in Europe. Our talented and passionate teams specialised in airline promotion will do their best to increase not only awareness among European travellers, but also tickets sold.”

AVIAREPS Giulio Santoro, General Manager Italy & Vice President South Europe stated with much fanfare: “Vietnam is an incredible destination, striking for its natural beauty and traditions full of charm. An essential destination for international tourism, which we are happy to enhance even more on the European territory.”

“AVIAREPS has established a unique bond with Bamboo Airways and the European market based on the quality of its services and trust. This benefits both our partners and our customers.”

The appointment of the GSA by Bamboo Airways signifies Bamboo’s ambitious plan in venturing into the European market. Bamboo Airways has substantially grown since its introduction in 2017 and thrives to become one of Vietnam’s most popular airlines by emphasising services and route pairing that do not currently exist.

AVIAREPS on the other hand is a world-renowned company that aids airlines and related travel companies to market their brand. Being a german company, the company strives to serve the best for their customers since 1994. Today its portfolio grew to over 250 customers worldwide supporting digital marketing, communications and sales.
