LONDON – Aviation Capital Group has announced this week the delivery of one of its Airbus A321neos to Russian carrier S7 Airlines.
This is the third A321neo on the ACG order book but is the 40th unit of the A320neo Family for S7.
Vadim Klebanov, the CEO of S7 Airlines commented on this delivery:
“We are excited to welcome yet another brand new A321neo to the S7 Airlines fleet delivered by our long-term valuable partner ACG”.
“With this delivery, we increase the number of our environmentally friendly aircraft as we continue taking steps to meet our sustainability goals.”
“In 2022 we plan to reduce fuel consumption and, as a result, carbon emissions by 4-5%, and to reach an average fleet age of 8.5 years.”
“Our ultimate goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 – a commitment that we share with our Oneworld partners.”

Data from RadarBox shows that VQ-BYI was delivered to S7 Airlines last Friday on a short flight between Hamburg Finkenwerder and Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
The A321neos that came from ACG to S7 are on long-term leasing arrangements with the capital firm.
