LONDON – Due to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, airBaltic has decided to temporarily suspend their overnight flights to Ukraine until at least the end of February 2022.
The airline has also announced that they will continue their service however from both Riga and Vilnius to Kyiv.
The main priority for airBaltic for both their passenger and their employees is their safety.
AirBaltic is also continuing to evaluate the situation in Ukraine whether it is possible to fly there, and airBaltic is flexible enough to adjust its services based on the government’s advice.
For the rest of the week, airBaltic is going to operate a daily schedule to Kyiv from Riga as well as 2 flights from Vilnius.
As a result of the temporary suspension, airBaltic has canceled the 5 overnight rotations between Kyiv and Riga as well as their 2 other rotations between Odesa and Riga.
The airline will contact the affected passengers and offer them to rebook their flights with other airlines.
