Malaysia Airlines Returns to Paris With Direct Flights

After a decade-long absence, Malaysia Airlines will return to Paris with direct A350-900 flights from March 2025.

Malaysia Airlines is set to introduce direct flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on 22 March 2025. This marks the airline’s 68th destination, strengthening its role as Asia’s gateway to the world.

After a decade-long hiatus, the airline celebrates this route’s return with the “Time for Paris” campaign. The service will start with four weekly flights from KL International Airport Terminal 1, using the Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Daily flights will commence from 29 March 2025.

Returning After a Decade


The reintroduction of this route after nearly ten years is a significant milestone for Malaysia Airlines. To celebrate this return, the airline is unveiling its “Time for Paris” campaign, designed to captivate potential travelers and highlight the allure of the French capital.

Ticket sales will open on 6 September 2024, with an enticing introductory offer. Passengers can secure all-inclusive return fares starting from just RM3,699, making this an attractive proposition for both leisure and business travelers.

Flight Schedule and Aircraft

The service will initially operate four weekly flights from KL International Airport Terminal 1, utilizing the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

This modern widebody plane is known for its superior comfort and efficiency, promising passengers a world-class travel experience. From 29 March 2025, the frequency will increase to daily flights, offering even greater flexibility for travelers.

Discovering the City of Light

A Strategic Move for Malaysia Airlines


Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), emphasized the significance of this route expansion. He stated, “Our growth into Europe represents a crucial milestone for Malaysia Airlines. Ww have additional widebody aircraft joining our fleet starting this fourth quarter. We are well-positioned to reintroduce this long-awaited destination to our network.”

Acknowledging the competitive nature of the European market, Captain Ismail expressed confidence in the route’s potential. He said that it would attract key travelers not only from Malaysia but also from neighboring regions. He added, “By launching direct services from Kuala Lumpur to Paris, we reaffirm our status as the national flag carrier and strengthen our role as the gateway to Asia and beyond.”
