Lufthansa Airlines has unveiled its latest premium lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport, located in the Terminal B facility.

Lufthansa Airlines has unveiled its latest premium lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport, setting a new standard for passenger comfort and luxury.

This state-of-the-art facility, located in Terminal B, offers travelers a sophisticated space to unwind or work before their flights.

A Glimpse into the New Lounge


Spanning 600 square meters, the lounge boasts a range of amenities designed to cater to diverse passenger needs. At its heart lies the impressive Skyline Bar, where guests can indulge in an extensive selection of beverages.

The bar offers handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, premium spirits, and non-alcoholic options. Notably, it also features craft beer on tap from New Jersey, the “Garden State.”

Culinary Offerings

The lounge’s bistro area showcases a variety of fresh, regional products. Summer menu highlights include Jersey cornbread with candied tomato jam. Also on offer are gourmet sandwiches featuring trumpet mushrooms, bacon, crisp lettuce, and tomato chutney on sourdough bread.

For First Class passengers and HON Circle members, an exclusive dining experience awaits. These elite travelers can enjoy a private dining area, an à la carte menu, and a curated selection of top-tier wines and champagne.

Investing in Passenger Comfort


Lufthansa has invested approximately 10 million Euro in this new lounge, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing the travel experience.

Victoria Schuster, Vice President Product & Customer Experience at Lufthansa Airlines, emphasizes the company’s dedication to meeting and exceeding passenger expectations both on the ground and in the air.

The new lounge accommodates around 170 guests, representing a 25% increase in capacity compared to its predecessor. Its multifunctional layout caters to various traveler needs.

One-third of the space is dedicated to business travelers, featuring functional communal tables, wireless charging options, and wireless printing facilities.

The remaining area offers relaxation spaces, including comfortable seating for solo travelers, options for couples and larger groups, and multifunctional rooms for meetings, calls, or children’s play areas.

Newark Liberty International Airport: A Hub for Lufthansa


Newark Liberty International Airport plays a crucial role in Lufthansa’s operations. As one of the busiest airports in the United States, it serves as a major gateway for international travelers.

Lufthansa’s Global Lounge Network


This new addition brings Lufthansa’s total lounge count to approximately 60 across 17 locations worldwide. These lounges offer passengers a consistent level of comfort and service, regardless of their departure point.

Access to the new Newark lounge is available to First and Business Class passengers of all Lufthansa Group airlines flying to Newark Airport, as well as HON Circle members and Senators.

With this latest investment, Lufthansa continues to strengthen its position as a leading premium airline, ensuring that passengers can enjoy world-class amenities from the moment they step into the airport until they reach their final destination.
