LOT Polish Airlines, Poland’s premier flag carrier, has announced a further expansion to its fleet. The airline has entered into a long-term lease agreement for four new aircraft. The agreement, signed with Phoenix Aviation Capital and AIP Capital is for four new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
This fleet addition aligns with LOT Polish Airlines’ ambitious growth plans, which aim to enhance operational flexibility to meet increasing passenger demand. Overall, the expansion seeks to further strengthen LOT’s position as a leading European carrier.
Continued Passenger Demand
The addition of these newer, fuel-efficient single-aisle aircraft will enable the airline to offer more routes and improve connectivity. With current trends indicating increased market demand for better inflight product, the aircraft also support a superior travel experience for customers.
