UAE carrier Emirates has unveiled its latest premium lounge at London Stansted Airport. This GBP 4 million investment showcases a vast 900-square-metre space, accommodating up to 125 guests. The lounge caters to First and Business Class passengers, as well as Emirates Skywards members.
This addition becomes Emirates’ sixth dedicated lounge in the UK, joining existing facilities in London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Manchester.
Now, all London airports served by Emirates offer top-tier pre-flight experiences, allowing travelers to relax and enjoy exceptional dining before their journeys.
Sixth UK Lounge Facility
Emirates stands out for its commitment to enhancing ground experiences. The airline boasts a network of 40 exclusive lounges worldwide and provides complimentary chauffeur services for premium customers.
Mohammed Mattar, Divisional Senior Vice President Airport Services at Emirates, stated: “Our new Stansted lounge reflects our dedication to superior service both in the air and on the ground.”
“It’s a significant milestone, as we now offer dedicated lounges across six UK airports. This underscores our ongoing commitment to one of our most crucial markets.”
Gareth Powell, Managing Director at Stansted Airport, added: “The new Emirates lounge is a fantastic addition to London Stansted.”
“Its prime location in Satellite 1 offers stunning airport views and direct boarding access. The Dubai flights have been immensely popular, connecting travelers not just to the Middle East, but across the globe through Emirates’ extensive network.”
The Premium Travel Experience
The new lounge in Satellite 1 features modern furnishings and dedicated areas for dining and relaxation.
Guests can enjoy a curated food and beverage selection, free Wi-Fi, and refreshing shower facilities. The lounge’s convenient location allows for quick boarding, with just a 2-3 minute walk to the aircraft.
Celebrating British Excellence
Emirates has partnered with Sussex-based Full Circles Farms to introduce a “farm to table” concept, offering seasonal menus featuring fresh, organic vegetables and local specialties. The lounge also serves premium spirits, fine wines, and a range of Moet & Chandon champagnes.
