A Loganair regional flight operating from Southampton to Edinburgh has declared an emergency enroute.
Loganair flight LM322, operated by an Embraer ERJ-145 declared the emergency with squawk code 7700 and is currently diverting.

Having declared the emergency whilst enroute over the British midlands, flight LM322 appears to be making good a diversion to Birmingham.
09:35 UTC: Flight Landed After Diversion
Having declared an emergency and expedited a diversion earlier this morning. Loganair flight LM322 now appears to have landed at Birmingham Airport (BHX). The nature of the problem prompting the diversion is not yet known.
Flight Details
Flight data shows that flight LM322 made an on-time departure out of Southampton Airport (SOU) at 0828 this morning. The flight had then set course normally, climbing to flight level FL190 for the northerly service to Scotland.
Flight crew declared the emergency, squawking transponder code 7700 at 0913 UTC. The aircraft was approaching the British midlands at the time of the emergency declaration. Following this, a descent and track to the Birmingham region was initiated.
The aircraft conducting this morning’s service to Edinburgh was an Embraer ERJ-145, registered G-SAJG. This is a 25.7 year old regional jet belonging to the carrier Loganair. It has been in operational service with the airline since March 2019.
The aircraft has passed through the hands of other operators since its initial delivery from the factory in April 1999. British Airways operated the aircraft from its initial delivery.
