JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) is adding several new destinations and routes out of Boston and New York, giving travelers more choices for their vacation plans.

These expansions align with the airline’s JetForward strategy, which aims to create the strongest leisure network on the East Coast.

Whether you’re seeking coastal relaxation, urban adventures, or nature escapes, JetBlue’s expanded network has something for every type of traveler. Summer travelers can now book flights to brand-new destinations, including JetBlue’s first-ever service to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

The airline is also expanding its presence across several U.S. cities, combining their signature service quality with more convenient travel options for both leisure travelers and those visiting friends and family.

Boston Builds Further

JetBlue’s commitment to Boston continues to grow stronger. The airline has announced five new routes to summer destinations, with four being completely new to JetBlue’s network.

These additions, along with previously announced flights to Madrid and Edinburgh, bring JetBlue’s nonstop destinations from Boston to 77 – the highest number offered by any airline in the market. This expansion reinforces JetBlue’s position as Boston’s leading leisure carrier.

“Summer vacation travelers throughout New England appreciate our exceptional service and competitive pricing,” says Daniel Shurz, leader of JetBlue’s revenue, network, and enterprise planning.

“We expect these new seasonal destinations to become favorites among our loyal customers in the region, offering them even more choices for their summer travel plans.”

Expanding Across New England

JetBlue is strengthening its New England presence beyond Boston. New routes from Providence, Rhode Island, and Hartford, Connecticut, will connect to New York’s JFK airport, opening up access to JetBlue’s extensive network.

The airline is also upgrading its Tampa and Fort Myers services from seasonal to year-round flights, responding to sustained customer demand.

Additionally, Portland, Maine, has become a year-round destination, and Manchester, New Hampshire, will soon offer multiple Florida routes, further enhancing regional connectivity.

New York Connections

As New York’s Hometown Airline®, JetBlue is enhancing its presence across the metropolitan area. Daily flights will resume from JFK to Washington, D.C., in March, followed by new daily services to Detroit, Hartford, Pittsburgh, and Providence in April.

Seasonal Burbank flights will also return. These additions not only improve access to New York but also create seamless connections to JetBlue’s extensive Caribbean network through their JFK focus city, while supporting more reliable and efficient operations.

Newark travelers will benefit from reinstated routes to Santo Domingo and Los Angeles. The Los Angeles service will feature JetBlue’s premium Mint® experience, complete with lie-flat suites and high-end dining options, offering travelers a luxurious transcontinental journey.

Latin America and Caribbean Expansion

JetBlue continues to grow in Latin America and the Caribbean, where it has become a preferred carrier thanks to competitive fares and award-winning service.

Beyond the new Honduras service and Newark-Santo Domingo route, the airline will launch daily flights between Fort Lauderdale and Guatemala City starting April 30, 2025. This complements existing service between Guatemala City and JFK, enhancing travel flexibility for customers and strengthening JetBlue’s presence in Central America.

Shurz adds, “These network additions showcase our commitment to bringing JetBlue’s outstanding service to more travellers. We’re reinforcing our position as both New York’s airline and the East Coast’s premier leisure carrier.”

“We’re excited to offer our customers even more opportunities to experience JetBlue’s award-winning service across our expanding network.”
