A JetBlue Airbus A220-300 outbound to Denver, CO made a precautionary return to Boston after reporting hydraulic problems on 18 March 2025.
JetBlue flight B62393, operated by an Airbus A220-300, conducted a departure from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
The flight was a scheduled service bound for Denver International Airport (DEN).

Following departure from Boston, the flight had levelled off at cruising altitude when the flight crew reported experiencing a hydraulic problems.
As a result, the decision was made to conduct a precautionary return to the departure airport.
According to the online source Aviation Herald, flight crew requested a landing on runway 33L due to the technical issue. Due to the prevailing wind direction, the requested runway was closed at the time of the request. ATC facilitated the opening of the runway to permit the landing.

Prior to its approach, the flight entered a series of holding manoeuvres for approximately one hour. An approach and landing was then carried out on runway 33L, approximately 2.5 hours after the flight’s initial departure.
A subsequent FAA report confirmed that the flight landed safely at Boston Logan International Airport around 12:10pm local time on Tuesday, March 18.

The flight had then set course normally for Denver, and had climbed to flight level FL340 before flight crew terminated the climb procedure.
A direct return to the departure airport was then carried out. Holding procedures for approximately one hour were conducted to the south of the airport prior to the landing.

The aircraft conducting the B62393 service to Denver was an Airbus A220-300, registered N3185J. This is a 1.1 year old narrow body aircraft belonging to the carrier JetBlue.
It has been operational service with the airline since its initial delivery from the factory in March 2024. The aircraft bears the airline name ‘I Will Always Love Blue.’
