About G-LSAK: The Jet2 757 Involved in the Emergency on LS810 Malaga-Manchester
G-LSAK is the aircraft involved in the incident.
As per Planespotters, G-LSAK is a 27.7 year old Boeing 757-200 that started out life with American Trans Air in November 1996.
Furthermore, by March 2003, it became part of ATA Airlines, before being sent to Jet2 in January 2010.
In September 2011, it was sent to RAK Airways on lease, before being returned to the UK carrier in June 2012.

@FlightEmergency on X reports that the aircraft has suffered a loss of hydraulic fluid and a loss of steering as a result.

Jet2 flight LS810 from Malaga has entered a hold to the south-east of Manchester.
Jet2 Emergency Preparing for Landing…
LS810 has exited it’s singular hold and is preparing to approach the center-fix for the 23s at MAN.
Unclear whether it will be 23R or 23L for landing based on the nature of the emergency.

Jet2 flight LS810 from Malaga, which declared the emergency, is now on final approach for the 23s at Manchester.

TOUCHDOWN! LS810 has appeared to have touched down safely on Runway 23L at MAN following it’s emergency declaration.
It is understood the aircraft has been met by emergency crews as well as operational teams from the airline, with a tug alongside.

LS810 is understood to have come to a safe stop on Runway 23L after touchdown.

Furthermore, the next steps for the aircraft will be for it to be towed to the apron at Manchester Airport.
It is unclear whether passengers will be disembarked onto the Runway and taken to the terminal or not.
Also, G-LSAK will be pulled out of commercial service whilst repairs commence on the aircraft.
