Furthermore, G-JZHV is understood to be the aircraft involved in the incident.

UPDATE #1 @ 0106 UK time – Jet2 flight LS226 from Las Palmas to Leeds has deviated to the east and is heading towards Spain/Portugal.
UPDATE #2 @ 0111 UK time – LS226 is tracking east in the direction of Santiago de Compostela & A Coruna.
About The Aircraft…
UPDATE #3 @ 0113 UK time – G-JZHV is understood to be the aircraft involved in the incident.
Furthermore, as per Planespotters, G-JZHV is a 7.5 year old Boeing 737-800 that was delivered to the airline back in February 2017.
UPDATE #4 @ 0116 UK time – LS226 has changed it’s squawk code from 7700 to 3724, but is still deviating at this time.
Descending…
UPDATE #5 @ 0117 UK time – LS226 has commenced it’s descent, presumably into Santiago de Compostela.
UPDATE #6 @ 0119 UK time – Jet2 flight LS226, which declared an emergency earlier, from Las Palmas to Leeds has changed it’s squawk code now changed to 5122.
Moreover, this is a non-emergency code.
UPDATE #7 @ 0128 UK time – LS226 is descending through FL100 and is approaching the base into Santiago de Compostela.
UPDATE #8 @ 0134 UK time – LS226 is now on final approach into Santiago de Compostela.

Jet2 flight LS226, originally bound for Leeds from Las Palmas, has touched down into Santiago de Compostela!
At this stage, the reason for the earlier emergency call is unclear.
As soon as we have more information pertinent to this, then we will update you accordingly.
