A Jet2 Boeing 737-800 enroute from Glasgow to Rome has declared an emergency in French airspace, squawking transponder code 7700.
Jet2 flight LS135, a Boeing 737-800 outbound from Glasgow declared the emergency from cruising flight and currently appears to be on return to the United Kingdom.

Flight LS135 conducted the turnaround as it passed abeam Paris on the outbound track for Rome. The flight is now conducting a diversion to London Stansted Airport.
The nature of the emergency prompting the diversion is not yet known. The flight is currently maintaining cruising altitude FL360 (36,000 feet)

Jet2 flight LS135 has now left FL360 on descent for the diversion airport London Stansted (STN). Flight crew are maintaining emergency transponder code 7700 for the approach.
The aircraft conducting the LS135 service is a Boeing 737-800, registered G-JZBV. This is a 16.7 year old narrow body aircraft belonging to the carrier Jet2.

Having declared an emergency whilst enroute from Edinburgh to Rome, Jet2 flight LS135 has now landed at the diversion airport London Stansted Airport (STN).
Online source Flight Emergency has advised that the flight diverted to London Stansted under emergency conditions due to a fuel leak.
