AerCap Holdings N.V. (NYSE: AER) announced a significant expansion of its partnership with JD Airlines.
The agreement includes the lease of four Boeing 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) scheduled for delivery in 2024.
JD Airlines is the cargo arm of leading Chinese logistics company JD Logistics (also known as Jingdong Logistics).
Boosting JD Airlines Cargo Network
These new freighters will be operated by JD Airlines to support the extensive supply chain network of JD Logistics.
The aircraft will be based at Nantong Xingdong International Airport and will primarily serve major economic hubs within China, including Nantong, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Wuxi.
Additionally, the expansion paves the way for potential cargo routes across Asia.
AerCap has a strong existing relationship with JD Airlines, currently leasing three 737-800BCF aircraft to the carrier.

AerCap Cargo boasts over 30 years of experience in freighter leasing. This includes extensive expertise in Passenger-to-Freighter conversions, with a proven track record of over 100 successful projects.
