IndiGo will further expand its international network with the inauguration of a new direct service from Mumbai to Seychelles later this month.

IndiGo has announced a further expansion of its international network with a new service to Seychelles from Mumbai.

The commencement of direct, non-stop services between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) in Mumbai and Seychelles International Airport (SEZ) in Mahé will commence March 22, 2025.

The airline will operate four weekly frequencies on this newly established route, enhancing connectivity between the Indian subcontinent and the burgeoning leisure market of the Seychelles archipelago.

Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo gave comment on the network expansion. “IndiGo is pleased to announce the initiation of direct services from Mumbai to Seychelles,” he stated

“This route expansion aligns with our strategic objectives to broaden our international footprint. It will offer passengers seamless connectivity to key destinations. The Seychelles market presents a significant opportunity for IndiGo. We are confident that this service will be well-received by our passengers.”

The Seychelles archipelago, renowned for its pristine beaches, diverse marine ecosystems, and unique biodiversity, represents a significant growth market within the tourism sector.

The commencement of direct air services from Mumbai will facilitate enhanced accessibility for Indian travelers, fostering increased tourism and trade between the two regions.

Seychelles: 39th International Destination
