Whilst still in the climb after departure from Seattle, flight crew reported that hydraulic problem on board. As a result, it was decided to make a precautionary diversion to Portland International Airport (PDX).

Prior to landing the departure airport, flight crew entered a holding procedure to check the operation of the aircraft landing gear.

The aircraft then conducted its landing at Portland International Airport just under 60 minutes after the diversion was initiated.
