HK Express celebrated an outstanding 2024, carrying 40% more passengers compared to the previous year. The airline reached a major milestone on 31 December 2024, welcoming its six-millionth passenger.
This exceptional performance earned HK Express the prestigious title of “Fastest Growing Airline of 2024” from OAG, the global travel industry’s leading data platform.
The accolade closed out a successful year for HK Express, marking the carrier as a rising star in Asia’s aviation sector.

Six Million Passengers and a Special Celebration
The airline marked its historic six-millionth passenger milestone on 2024’s final day. To commemorate this achievement, HK Express management personally welcomed Ms. Wan, the six-millionth passenger, at the gate for flight UO668 from Hong Kong to Fukuoka.
The lucky traveler received six round-trip tickets, encouraging her to continue exploring HK Express’s network of over 30 destinations and embracing the airline’s “Live More” philosophy.
“This came as a complete surprise,” Ms. Wan shared enthusiastically. “I’m looking forward to planning next year’s travels with my family. Since I love natural landscapes, I’ll probably focus on exploring various Japanese destinations.”
The celebration highlighted HK Express’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for its passengers while maintaining competitive fares.
