LONDON – Indian based carrier Vistara has taken delivery of its first purchased Airbus A320neo yesterday, the aircraft is the first of 13 that the airline has purchased back in 2018 and are part of a larger order for 50 A320neo Family aircraft which also included orders for the Airbus A321neo.

It mirrors the maturity that Vistara has achieved in the Indian aviation industry in a short span of time, continuing to steadily grow in scale, size and operational assets. The new aircraft underlines our focus on continuous enhancement of fleet to provide world-class flying experience to our customers.”
The delivery of the purchased marks the airline’s third purchased aircraft to enter its fleet, with the carrier also purchasing six Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner long-haul aircraft for its international operations, two of which are already being operated by the airline.
