French bee is launching direct flights between Montreal and Paris, marking its first entry into the Quebec market on 30 April 2025. This new low-cost carrier will connect Montreal-Trudeau International Airport with Paris-Orly, making long-haul travel more accessible for Quebec travelers.

The airline’s expansion into Canada represents a significant step in strengthening its North American presence. The carrier is already operating successful routes to major U.S. cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Miami.

Growing North American Market Demand

With proposed flights to Montreal in the offing, French bee now aims to meet growing North American demand for affordable long-distance travel. This new service is expected to boost Quebec’s tourism sector while supporting local economic growth and trade relationships.

Passengers will fly aboard state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft, which deliver impressive environmental benefits. These next generation widebody aircraft cut fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by 25% compared to older models.

This is made possible thanks to innovative design features and lightweight materials. This eco-friendly approach caters to environmentally conscious travelers without compromising performance.

Proposed Flight Scheduling

The initial schedule includes four weekly flights between Montreal and Paris, with an additional fifth weekly flight running from July 4 to August 31, 2025, during peak summer travel season. Travelers can book return tickets starting at $449, making Paris more accessible to Quebec residents. The direct flight takes approximately seven and a half hours.

French bee offers extensive customization options for passengers. Travelers can enhance their journey by selecting from various add-ons.

These include checked baggage, sports equipment transportation, premium seating options, private cabins, priority boarding, meal services, and travel convenience kits. These choices create over a million possible combinations to match individual preferences.

Gregory Jamet, executive vice-president RMPP at French bee, commented on the new service. “Adding Montreal as our seventh long-haul destination demonstrates our continued international growth and responds to strong year-round demand for both business and leisure travel.”

“This route will strengthen our local partnerships and enhance Canada-France connections. By introducing the Airbus A350, we’re delivering on our commitment to environmental responsibility while ensuring comfortable, affordable travel. We’re excited to welcome our first Quebec passengers starting April 30, 2025.”
