Dubai-based airline flydubai has formed a significant new partnership with Batik Air Malaysia. This will afford travelers substantially expanded flight options through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

A comprehensive interline agreement opens up over 40 new destinations across Batik Air’s extensive network to flydubai passengers. The new agreement represents a major enhancement in connectivity between the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

Supporting Travel Between UAE and Malaysia

The partnership streamlines international travel between the UAE, Malaysia, and beyond by enabling single bookings with through-checked baggage across both airlines’ networks.

This integration eliminates the hassle of multiple bookings and baggage rechecking, providing a seamless travel experience for customers.

flydubai passengers can now reach popular Southeast Asian destinations including Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka, and Sydney via convenient Batik Air connections through Kuala Lumpur.

Similarly, Batik Air passengers gain convenient access to flydubai’s comprehensive network of 38 destinations spanning Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central and Southeast Europe, the GCC, and the Middle East.

This includes unique routes to vibrant cities like Entebbe, Istanbul, Milan-Bergamo, Prague, and Zagreb, opening up new possibilities for business and leisure travelers alike.
