Dubai-based airline flydubai has announced the launch of a new seasonal route to the coastal destination of Al Alamein in Egypt.

This latest network addition will provide travelers with a convenient and direct connection to one of the Mediterranean’s most alluring beach destinations.

Egyptian North Coast Leisure Demand

Starting from June 21st to September 7th, 2025, flydubai will operate daily flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Alamein International Airport (DBB).

This seasonal service aims to cater to the growing demand for leisure travel to Egypt’s North Coast, renowned for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere.

The introduction of the Al Alamein route underscores flydubai’s commitment to expanding its network and offering its passengers a diverse range of destinations. By adding this popular coastal city to its portfolio, the airline aims to further stimulate tourism and economic growth in the region.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, gave his thoughts on the new route. “We are delighted to introduce Al Alamein as a new destination in our summer schedule. This daily service will provide seamless access to the beautiful Mediterranean coast of Egypt.”

“It offers travelers a memorable escape. flydubai remains dedicated to connecting people and cultures, and we are confident that this new route will contribute to the growth of tourism and trade between the UAE and Egypt.”

Third Egyptian Destination

With the addition of Al Alamein, flydubai’s network in Egypt now encompasses three key destinations. Alexandria, Cairo (Sphinx), and now Al Alamein, will be served by a total of 21 weekly flights. This expanded network offers travelers more flexibility and choice when planning their trips to Egypt.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said that the new route would complement existing services. “We are constantly exploring opportunities to expand our network and provide our customers with a wider range of travel options.”

“Al Alamein is a perfect addition to our summer offerings, complementing our other popular destinations in the region. We believe that this new route will be highly attractive to travelers from the UAE and beyond. It will offer a unique and unforgettable experience.”
