Kazakhstan low-cost carrier FlyArystan has taken delivery of a new Airbus A320neo, becoming the 24th aircraft in its fleet.

FlyArystan, Kazakhstan’s leading low-cost carrier, has announced the addition of a new Airbus A320neo to its fleet. This marks a significant milestone for the airline, bringing the total number of aircraft to 24.

The latest addition boasts cutting-edge technology, including next-generation engines and enhanced aerodynamics.

These advancements translate to a 20% reduction in fuel consumption compared to previous models, resulting in a significantly lower carbon footprint. Moreover, the aircraft is designed to be quieter, minimizing its environmental impact.

New Fleet Acquisition: A320neo ‘Spica’


Richard Ledger, President of FlyArystan spoke on the new fleet acquisition. “Taking delivery of a brand-new A320neo from the Airbus factory in Toulouse and integrating it into our operations is a crucial step in FlyArystan’s growth.”

“This aircraft will not only enable us to expand our route network and increase flight frequencies on popular destinations but also solidify our commitment to sustainable air travel.”

The new aircraft, named “Spica” after one of the brightest stars in the night sky, symbolizes FlyArystan’s ambition to be a leading force in providing affordable and comfortable air travel.

Effective from 1 January 2025, all FlyArystan flights now operate under the new FS code, as assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
