Kazakhstan’s budget airline FlyArystan has added a new Airbus A320ceo to its growing fleet, marking a further step in its expansion strategy.
This latest fleet addition is configured with 180 seats and features spacious, comfortable Recaro seating.
With quiet cabin and versatile lighting options, it will operate for the carrier on short and medium-haul flights.
New A320ceo Named ‘Altair’
Richard Ledger, FlyArystan’s Acting President, emphasized the aircraft’s importance, particularly in the peak travel season.
“The Airbus A320 is operationally efficient for our network and ideal for short- and medium-haul flights.”
“This addition demonstrates our commitment to providing the best travel experience, especially during the busy summer season when demand for air travel peaks.”
Continuing a cherished company tradition, a passenger was given the honor of naming the new aircraft.
In a first for the airline, this naming ceremony took place in Almaty Airport’s new international terminal. The setting added a touch of prestige to the event.
The plane was christened “Altair,” after the bright star in the constellation Aquila, becoming the 23rd aircraft in FlyArystan’s rapidly expanding fleet.
FlyArystan: A Rising Star in Low-Cost Air Travel
Since its launch in May 2019, FlyArystan has quickly established itself as a leading low-cost carrier in Kazakhstan.
The airline operates a modern fleet of A320 aircraft, serving an extensive network of both domestic and international routes.
With strategic bases in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, and Shymkent, FlyArystan efficiently connects passengers to destinations across Kazakhstan and beyond.
The airline’s international reach extends to neighboring countries and popular tourist destinations. Its network spans Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, India, UAE, Qatar, and China through a combination of regular scheduled flights and charter services.
This expansive network has positioned FlyArystan as a key player in promoting regional connectivity and tourism.
FlyArystan’s commitment to quality service and affordable air travel has not gone unnoticed in the industry.
In both 2023 and 2024, it received the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Award for Best Low-Cost Carrier in Central Asia & CIS. This stood as a neat testament to the carrier’s rising prominence and overall passenger satisfaction levels.
With the new arrival, FlyArystan continues to expand its fleet and network. Passengers can look forward to more affordable travel options and improved connectivity throughout the region.
The addition of the new Airbus A320ceo is just the latest step in the airline’s ambitious journey to become a major player in the Central Asian aviation market.
